Just Tutor Me started because existing platforms weren't good enough. Rigid pacing, one-size-fits-all instruction, and no way to know if your child actually understood the material or just clicked through it.

We're building an AI tutor grounded in learning science — not gamification tricks. Every design decision is informed by research on how children actually learn: spaced retrieval, mastery verification, executive function awareness, and adaptive instruction that changes method when the current one isn't working.

The system uses a developmental continuum instead of rigid grade levels, because real learning is jagged — a child can be advanced in reading and behind in math, and that's perfectly normal. We meet each student exactly where they are.

And because we're a homeschool family ourselves, we know that the parent's role matters. You're not replaced — you're empowered. The AI handles daily instruction while you monitor progress, set priorities, and step in when it matters.
